Breitbart.com reports that
In a truly bizarre leap of logic, film star Whoopi Goldberg has compared the right to observe the feast of Christmas with a woman’s purported right to have an abortion.
On Tuesday’s episode of The View on ABC, Goldberg argued with the other co-hosts regarding the separation of church and state, and people’s right to celebrate Christmas and publicly display Nativity scenes to mark the Christian holiday.
Out of nowhere, Goldberg brought up abortion, claiming that the celebration of Christmas is “the same conversation with a woman’s right to choose.”
“What I do with my body is my right. It is not your right to tell me,” she said. “The same thing is it’s – if you believe in Christmas, it’s not my right – you know, I grew up and – and, you know, kids who didn’t go to Catholic school had Christmas and they – we never knew what their religions were, but we hung ‘cause it was Christmas holiday.”
Ms. Goldberg has a long history of defending abortion, often using her role on The View as a bully pulpit to preach her gospel of “reproductive rights.”
Last year she challenged former Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina asking whether her “Christian beliefs” on abortion would allow her to be president “for everyone.”
Goldberg asked, “I’m sorry, I got to ask this question. The first part of it is you’re running, I assume you’re a person who is very, sort of, pro-life. Are you going to run as a person going to govern for everyone or are you running on your Christian beliefs?”
The actress’s promotion of reproductive rights extends to a full-blown defense of America’s largest abortion provider: Planned Parenthood.
Again on The View, Goldberg lashed out at those pushing to stop federal funding of Planned Parenthood, telling conservative politicians: “Get out of my vagina!”
In the same episode, Goldberg and the other co-hosts took aim at Republican presidential contender Dr. Ben Carson, a vocal critic of Planned Parenthood and its shameless targeting of black women for abortions.
You know what the sad thing is, boys and girls?
This is not the first time that Hollywood Liberals have used this sick and blasphemous comparison.
Back in in November of 2015, Ben Shapiro, Senior Editor at Breitbart.com, asked and answered the following question…
How vile is the television industry? They won’t just promote toleration of abortion. They won’t just promote abortion itself. They will sanctify abortion, turn it into a sacred rite of passage.
Last night’s Scandal featured main character Olivia Pope (played by far-left Obama acolyte Kerry Washington) undergoing an abortion. As they wheel Pope into the operating room, the soundtrack underneath plays the Christmas song “Silent Night” – a song dedicated to celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. After her abortion, the show cuts to Pope at home, drinking wine and smiling happily while looking at her Christmas tree. Now the show features “Ave Maria.”
Naturally, Washington saw fit to tweet about the episode by plugging abortion factory Planned Parenthood:

The abortion followed character Senator Mellie Grant, a Republican, filibustering her own party to stop defunding of Planned Parenthood – a true television fantasy, if ever there was one, passing former Texas State Senator Wendy Davis off under the guise of Republicanism. Gross.
Planned Parenthood took advantage of the storyline to plug its killing of the unborn:
Tonight the millions of people who tune into Scandal every Thursday night learned that our rights to reproductive health care are under attack. Never one to shy away from critical issues, Shonda Rhimes used her platform to tell the world…We applaud Shonda Rhimes tonight – and every Thursday night – for proving that when women are telling our stories, the world will pause and watch.
Shonda Rhimes, the creator of the show and a television icon, is a major fan of abortion. In 2011, one of her Gray’s Anatomy characters had an abortion; Rhimes justified that decision by saying that the character would have had an abortion, and that it was better for the character to have an abortion rather than resenting her child. Adoption apparently never crossed Rhimes’ mind; better to just off the baby. At the time, she lied in interviews, “I don’t think it’s about the agenda,” although she added that one of the pro-life characters in Private Practice was “viciously” pro-life.In 2014, Rhimes came out of the closet fully on her agenda. She’s on the board of Planned Parenthood of Los Angeles, and she said:
Most accidentally impregnated characters, even young women who have only lived in a post-Roe v. Wade world, don’t bring up or even briefly consider the option of an abortion. It is as if it doesn’t even exist. And [that’s] weird and not realistic…let’s be serious about what’s really going on.
But of course, it’s not about just being serious that people have abortions. That’s just the great Hollywood lie: “We depict, we don’t push values.” Nonsense. Every creative decision is a choice between portrayals of certain values. If Rhimes had shown an abortion and then Pope devastated afterward, that would be one choice; instead, she chose to turn abortion into a full-on holy affair, complete with Christian odes playing in the background. Never do these shows depict a 3D ultrasound. That would be giving the audience too much information.
This is the new Democratic Party and the new left: freed from the shackles of “safe, legal, and rare,” the feminist left now cheers abortion as an affirmative good, something to smile about over cocoa while comfortably listening to religious music – because hey, you don’t have anything to feel bad about. Abortion is just something people do, rather like removing a kidney stone, only with a generalized feeling of empowerment. FXX’s You’re the Worst now terms abortion “abobo” to make a joke of it; NBC’s Parenthood championed a high school abortion in 2013. Abortion is now a pleasant decision with no moral consequences, a fun thing to do in your off-hours if you were just screwing around and decided not to slap on a condom.
Hollywood creates characters we care about. Hollywood creates friends for us, people with whom we schedule time once a week. Then, after creating those characters, Hollywood has them perform activities we find morally repugnant, but portrays those acts as decent. Being entertained requires not merely a willing suspension of disbelief, but a certain suspension of morality – how else could we stand watching the lies, betrayals, and acts of violence of every sort we routinely watch? Hollywood takes advantage of our entertainment-minded nonjudgmentalism and attempts to extend it to our general moral calculus.
It’s gross, and it is a violation of the unspoken compact between entertainers and their audiences. Decent people ought to tune out of Shonda Rhimes’ leftist tripe.
Have you ever tried to have a discussion with an ardent pro-abortion supporter, either on Facebook or face-to-face? You won’t hear these “Champions of Tolerance” call those innocent lives, babies, human beings, a life, a soul, a gift from God, or anything remotely resembling something that they should feel remorse about killing.
Heck, Pro-Abortionists are opposed to the taking of sonograms of the woman’s womb, before she has a abortion. They’re afraid that the “seed-carrier” will realize that IS a HUMAN BEING inside her, and will decide not to kill that baby.
From the scientific perspective, Dr. Carlo Bellieni, in his book “Dawn of the I: Pain, Memory, Desire, Dream of the Fetus,” writes:
As soon as it is born, the child shows in a scientifically demonstrable way that it recognizes its mother’s voice and distinguishes it from that of a stranger. Where has he learned that voice other than in the maternal womb?
There are also direct proofs. For example, we register how the movements and cardiac frequency of the fetus vary if we transmit unexpected sounds through the uterine wall. And we see that at first the fetus is startled, then it gets used to it, just like we do when we hear something that does not interest us.
In fact, the scientific evidence is immense. We cannot understand how it can be thought that it becomes a person at a certain point, perhaps when coming out of the uterus.
From the physical point of view, at the birth very little really changes: Air enters the lungs, the arrival of blood from the placenta is interrupted, the type of circulation of blood in the heart changes, and not much more.
As I often say, only blind faith in magic arts or some strange divinity can lead one to think that there is a “human” quality leap at a given moment — certainly not science.
For Whoopi Goldberg to equate the Unholy Sacrament of the Liberal Culture of Death to the Celebration of the Birth of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, “the author and of our faith”(Hebrews 12:2), represents one of the most ignorant and vile statements I have heard in my life.
I know that there are some of you that will be reading this are non-believers. For you and for my Christian brothers and sisters, I offer the following closing thoughts:
There is a curious unique enzyme found in the human body. Laminin is defined by the Webster Medical Dictionary as a “glycoprotein that is a component of connective tissue basement membrane and that promotes cell adhesion.” In other words, a glue within the body.
Colossians 1:15-17 tells us:
15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. 17And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
All those who believe that “it is a woman’s right to choose”…think too highly of themselves.
For every innocent life is a Gift from The Creator to be loved and cherished, as He first loved us.
As far as Whoopie, her fellow Liberals at ABC and all those who cheered those two glorifications of human sacrifice are concerned…
This was just another example of how far removed they are from the views of average Americans.
“The Smartest People in the Room” need to remember that they were “just a clump of cells” once, themselves.
