David Hogg, Phil Robertson, America, and Me

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. – Ephesians 6:12 (ESV)

As I chronicled yesterday, The March For Life was held in 853 cities in American and around the world, for the purpose of protesting “Gun Violence” and to lecture Americans about how wonderful taking away some of our Second Amendment Freedoms through Gun Control would be.

The Liberal Poster Boy for the event was, of course, David Hogg, a young man whose claim to fame is being a survivor of the Parkland High School Valentine’s Day Massacre.

To show you how much of a teen idol this guy is, here is an excerpt of a story about his speech at the event in Washington, DC, courtesy of Teen Vogue

The cold grasp of corruption shackles the District of Columbia,” David said. “The winter is over. Change is here. The sun shines on a new day, and the day is ours.” He asked the crowd who would be voting in the 2018 midterms, and responded to their cheers, “If you listen real close, you can hear the people in power shaking. They’ve gotten used to being protective of their positions, choosing the safety of inaction. Inaction is no longer safe. And to that we say, ‘No more!'””We are going to make this the voting issue,” David continued.

“We’re going to take this to every election, to every state and every city. We’re going to make sure the best people get in our elections to run, not as politicians, but as Americans. Because this,” David said, pointing at the U.S. Capitol behind him, “this is not cutting it. When people try to suppress your vote, and there are people who stand against you because you’re too young, we say, ‘No more!'”

…”Now, they will try to separate us in demographics, they will try to separate us by religion, race, congressional district, and class,” he warned the crowd. “They will fail. We will come together. We will get rid of these public servants that only serve the gun lobby. And we will save lives. You are those heroes.”

David closed his speech issuing a rallying cry to drive people to the polls in 2018: “This is the start of the spring and the blossoming of our democracy, so let’s take this to our local legislators and let’s take this to midterm elections because without the persistent heat, without the persistence of voters and Americans everywhere getting out to elections, democracy will not flourish, but it can and it will.”

“To those politicians who say change will not come, I say we will not stop until every man, every woman, every child, and every American can live without fear of gun violence,” David said as he ended his speech. “To that I say, ‘No more!'”

As I wrote yesterday, those marches being ballyhooed by the Main Stream Media were all organized and funded by the usual suspects: Soros-funded non-profit organizations whose sole purpose in life is to restrict our freedoms through the old fascist mantra of claiming that limiting individual freedom is “for the sake of the children”. when in reality, it is for the sake of a “New Fascism”.

When our Founding Fathers sat down to provide form and substance to the laws and procedures for governing this new country, which they had fought and won a bloody war over, by pledging their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor, they were very aware of the price of tyranny.

They determined that this new nation would be a Constitutional Republic, having had their fill of monarchies.

In order to ensure that no leader of this new nation would go mad with power, and become a tyrannical despot, our Founders set up a System of Checks and Balances, overseen by Three Branches of Government: the Legislative, the Executive, and the Judicial, with each branch having a distinct and LIMITED  role.

The situation, which we as a nation, find ourselves in today, is one which our Founding Fathers sought valiantly to avoid.

Thanks to 8 years of the Imperious Obama Presidency, we are still suffering under a “Tyranny of the Minority”.

This minority is not based on color, rather, it is one based on political ideology and self-interest.

As the past several years have shown, this minority, buoyed by money from this “sponsors”, including the Halls of Power in Washington, DC, will shut down anyone who threatens “what they’ve got” by ANY MEANS NECESSARY, including political devices and beliefs, which we, as a country, have gone to war against in the past.

A few years back, the Patriarch of the Mega-hit Television Program, “Duck Dynasty”, Phil Robertson, sat down with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, and, as per usual, Brother Phil told it like it was…

…HANNITY: So we got to win those political battles, too. I think they’re just as important.

ROBERTSON: Yes. I just feel a little more comfortable dealing in the spiritual realm, even with the persecution of whatever comes with it, I’m just — I have a task to do and I go forth across America. I’ve been doing this, most people don’t realize, I’ve been doing this for 35 years.

HANNITY: Yeah.

ROBERTSON: I’ve been all over the United States backwards and forwards, and my message is always the same, god loves you, sent Jesus to die for you.

HANNITY: When the controversy arose were you surprised?

ROBERTSON: Surprised, not at all. Blessed are you when men hate you, when they exclude you, when they insult you and reject your name as evil, Jesus said, because of the son of man. Leap for joy because great is your reward in heaven. It goes with the territory, spiritual warfare. There is a Satan out there, an evil one, and if anyone that looks at our culture doesn’t believe it, I would simply say, what, are you blind? It’s pretty rough out there.

HANNITY: I wrote a whole book “Deliver Us from Evil.”

ROBERTSON: Yep.

HANNITY: How do you explain Pol Pot and the killing fields, Adolf Hitler, Nazi Germany, fascism, communism, imperial.

(CROSSTALK)

ROBERTSON: Evil.

HANNITY: And then how do you explain murder, and pedophilia, and rape – – evil.

ROBERTSON: Yes, yes.

HANNITY: See, when you use these spiritual terms some people get, you can’t say that.

ROBERTSON: We took the 10 commandments now and removing them from the courthouse and we’re getting them out of our psyche. We took God out of our schools. Well, if you started with young people and you taught them, you rebuke them, you corrected them, you trained them, you instructed them to obey their father and mother, honor their father and mother, don’t murder, don’t lie, don’t steal from a young age, is anyone trying to tell me that we wouldn’t have a better society? I mean, it’s nuts.

What causes somebody to “wig out”, or to have what psychiatrists call “a break with reality”? Is it caused by some genetic abnormality? Is it caused by socialization? Or, it Brother Phil right? Does the Devil make them do it?

In my present job, I get to talk to people from all walks of life. I am usually a pretty good judge of character. However, you never know…

The event which started the National Walkout Day and the March For Our Lives, the Parkland High School Massacre, was perpetrated by one lone psychopath, whom, according to local authorities was judged to have needed to have been locked up in the looney bin 2 years previous to that fateful Valentines Day 2018.

So ,now, because of the actions of that one lone psychopath, Liberal Activists are using our children and grandchildren as unwitting dupes, having them tell the world how wonderful it would be if Americans had their Second Amendment Rights restricted.

Brother Phil was right about how widespread evil is in our society.

A Few years ago,, while I was pursuing one of my favorite activities, perusing Facebook to see what was going on, I was on one of my favorite political pages, of which I happen to be a moderator, when I noticed that an anonymous poster had posted an anti- American Armed Forces message just to get some attention. In fact, this guy was so far around the bend, that he posted that our military deserved to die because of the interventionism and nation-building foreign policy of the United States. When he became cornered and was asked to account factually for his comments on Facebook, this loon even suggested that the Japanese attacked the US Military at Pearl Harbor, because of things they had already done and they bore no ill will toward the American people.  When I asked him whose sons and daughters did he think that the US military consisted of, he went strangely silent.

Of course, this guy wound up getting banned from that Facebook Page. Then he came back under a phony profile, and got banned again.

We later found out that this troubled soul had been banned from several Facebook Pages for posting under phony names, posting incessantly, and threatening female posters.

By now. you’re probably asking, “So what do these two examples have to do with each other and with David Hogg and the March For Our Lives or what Phil Robertson said to Sean Hannity?”

First off, restricting all Americans Second Amendment Rights is not going to stop the fruitcakes and the criminals for getting guns

There is a reason that we don’t all go out killing another and there is also a reason why we’re not all fruitcakes who go around looking for attention, threatening people on Facebook.

Now you can call it genetics, you can call it socialization, you can call it the proper alignment of the moon and stars…I choose to call it the Grace of God.

There is a comforting old saying which states

There but for the Grace of God go I.

Our American Pop Culture, being incessantly marketed by Liberals, espouses and embraces a reflection of not simply an immoral society, but, an amoral one, whose concept of right and wrong is “Whatever Gets You Through the Night (It’s Alright. It’s Alright.)”, and whose ultimate authority is not the God of Abraham, but a Godless Central Government, whose credo is

From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs. (Karl Marx)

Just as Marxism has failed wherever it has been tried before, so will it fail here.

Just as amorality and licentiousness led to the destruction of the Roman Empire, so, if unchecked, will it lead to America’s.

The galling thing is the fact that, even though American Christians remain 76% of the population, we are propagandized and suppressed in both the Old and New Media, to make it seem as if WE are the Minority, when, in fact, WE are the overwhelming Majority.

It is this New Generation of Amoral Socialists, who are in fact, just a tiny, albeit vocal, Minority of America’s population.

So, what can an average Christian American, like you and me, do about this “Tyranny of the Minority”?

As the Apostle Paul tells us in Ephesians, we can STAND.

However, you cannot stand without “the full armor of God”. I have found, as have my family and friends, that the better that you are doing, in terms of your Christian Walk, the harder that you will be attacked.

10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. 11Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.…- Ephesians 6:10-12

The more we stand up for the Triune God, the harder the Enemy attacks…in all areas of our lives…including our political beliefs.

They expect Christian Americans to be “sacrificial lambs”, to meekly allow our Constitutional Rights to be stripped from us, remaining unseen and unheard from, and worshiping in private.

Well,  y’all can wish for a unicorn to magically appear in your backyard…but that ain’t gonna happen, either.

Our Lord and Savior stood up and got angry for Righteousness’ Sake. Do you seriously expect Christian Americans to do no less?

We are given free will by our Creator will to make choices and decisions on the direction of our lives. Being human, we often don’t make the right decisions and being human, those decisions have the potential to lead us down a dark path.

Whether is in reality or strictly in the close quarters of our own consciousness, the path we choose to follow is up to us. However, our parents, family, and friends can make a difference in our journey and I thank God that through His Grace that I was given a Father who made sure that I received loving instruction in The Way in which I should go.

Average Americans still believe that we live in the greatest country on the face of the earth, as was demonstrated on November 8, 2016.

We do not cower or willingly give up our Constitutional Rights so that we might “be taken care of” by a “benevolent” government.

It was that sort of “benevolence” that caused our ancestors to leave their homes and coming to “The Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave”.

As Founding Father Dr. Benjamin Franklin so famously said,

They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

That being said, we still have a responsibility to one another.

We can stand for what is right or for what is easy.

The Light or the Darkness. The choice is up to each and every one of us.

Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:14 (ESV)

Phil Robertson, America, and Me – A KJ Sunday Morning Reflection

I mean, it’s nuts.

What causes somebody to “wig out”, or to have what psychiatrists call “a break with reality”? Is it caused by some genetic abnormality? Is it caused by socialization? Or, it Brother Phil right? Does the Devil make them do it?

In my present job, I get to talk to people from all walks of life. I am usually a pretty good judge of character. However, you never know…

Remember the mass murder that took place on the campus of the University of California at Santa Barbara, back in 2014? A psychopath named Elliot Rodger killed 6 people and wounded 13 others before turning his gun on himself.

According to the murderer, he was ignored by women and had problems getting a date.

Now, as someone who was a nerd who hung out with the jocks in high school, I can tell you that approaching girls as a nerd when you’re young man is a hard thing to do. You start to fear their rejection so badly, that it becomes a huge brick wall that keeps you from happiness. However, never in my wildest imagination would I have ever thought of hurting others because I couldn’t get a date.  I mean, its stupid if you think about it and very sad at the same time. The horror of it all is that he ended innocent lives because he was jealous of the lives of others.

Brother Phil was right about how widespread evil is in our society.

A while back, while I was pursuing one of my favorite activities, perusing Facebook to see what was going on, I was on one of my favorite political pages, of which I happen to be an moderator, when I noticed that an anonymous poster had posted an anti- American Armed Forces message just to get some attention. In fact, this guy was so far around the bend, that he posted that our military deserved to die because of the interventionism and nation-building foreign policy of the United States. American Liberals and Radical Islam: A Naive Infatuation…Born of Cowardice?

January 15, 2015

Islam cartoonThe attention of the world, America included, continues to be focused on the followers of Mohammed

It seems like Europe’s Liberal Governments have finally figured out that the radical adherents to Islam, actually are immersed in a jihad, and actually intend to kill all the “infidels” they can.

Unfortunately, the veil has not yet lifted from the eyes of American liberals.

And, it won’t, while the current Administration remains in the White House.

America’s Liberals are both in love with and deathly afraid of Radical Muslims, living their lives, consumed by a bizarre mixture of naive infatuation and cowardice.

For example…

CNSNews.com reports that

Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson said that when the Duck Dynasty show began on A&E in 2012, the video editors, based in Los Angeles, would often take out the words “in Jesus’ name” from the family prayer scene because they thought the name “Jesus” might “offend some of the Muslims or something.”

Robertson said he advised the show’s producers, in West Monroe, La., that they and the entire world kept time, the “year of Our Lord,” A.D., Anno Domini, based upon Jesus Christ and that it would not hurt to “throw His name in there from time to time,” and he noted that this example represented, the “spiritual warfare” that is always occurring.

Robertson made his comments during an interview with reporters for Sports Spectrum TV. He first related that video editors of Duck Dynasty initially added bleeps to the audio to suggest there was profanity when there was, in fact, no cursing by the cast members.  Robertson got the editors to stop making those insertions.

He then recounted, “The other thing was when we prayed, we said, ‘In Jesus’ name. Amen.’ Now, I don’t have any verse that says you must always use or pray in the name of Jesus but it’s a very good idea, I think.  So they were just having me saying, ‘Thank you Lord for the food, thank you for loving us. Amen.’”

“So I said, why would you cut out ‘In Jesus’ name’?” recalled Robertson.  “They said, ‘Well, those editors are probably doing that and they just think, you know, they don’t want to maybe offend some of the Muslims or something.’”

“I said, let’s see now, what year is it?” he said.  “They said, what?  I said, what year is it? They said, well, it’s 2012. I said 2012 AD. Anno Domini, the year of Our Lord. I said, you Hollywood cats are counting time by Jesus just like I am. “

“I would think out of all the people that walked planet Earth, if we’ve all decided in America here to count time by just one of them, Jesus of Galilee, then I don’t think it hurts to throw His name in there from time to time,” recounted Robertson, who is an elder at the White’s Ferry Road Church of Christ in West Monroe, La.

“Your calendar’s based on it,” said Robertson. “They said, we never thought of it like that. I said, duh, give me a break. So I notice now, every once in awhile they leave it [name of Jesus] in there. “

“But you have to remember, it’s spiritual warfare,” said Robertson.  “You have people with — what do they say — no moral compass. It ain’t there. So, I tell people, be patient. Just be patient. We’re working on it. We just have to do it. They’re the ones that, they own the network and they’re filming the show. We signed a contract with them, okay, and it’s a work house.”

“But people have to understand, the people of God have to understand that you have to be patient,” said Robertson.  “You don’t turn that ship quickly. It’s a big ship. A lot of depravity, a lot of heathen, a lot of the evil one. He is entrenched in the United States. So you’re not going to turn it like shoo! You know what I’m saying?”

Spiritual warfare, indeed. And, all done in the name of “religious accommodation”.

The Washington Times reports that

Duke University has decided to reverse its plan to sound the Muslim call-to-prayer from a chapel bell tower on campus after receiving a wave of backlash from Christians who called the plan unfair.

“Duke remains committed to fostering an inclusive, tolerant and welcoming campus for all of its students,” said Michael Schoenfeld, Duke’s vice president for public affairs and government relations, a local CBS affiliate reported. “However, it was clear that what was conceived as an effort to unify was not having the intended effect.”

The university had intended to allow the Duke Muslim Students Association to chant the call to prayer — called the adhan — on Friday from the Duke Chapel bell tower.

Christy Lohr Sapp, the chapel’s associate dean for religious life, explained that the call “connects the university to national trends in religious accommodation,” CNN reported.

The plan was swiftly rejected by religious groups.

Franklin Graham, the son of evangelist Billy Graham, wrote on Facebook: “As Christianity is being excluded from the public square and followers of Islam are raping, butchering and beheading Christians, Jews and anyone who doesn’t submit to their Sharia Islamic law, Duke is promoting this in the name of religious pluralism. I call on the donors and alumni to withhold their support from Duke until this policy is reversed.”

Mr. Graham’s message was shared nearly 60,000 times.

“When did Christians end up being the bad guys! Political correctness is going to destroy this country,” Nancy Kain Walls responded. “God help us.”

“I have a feeling that separation of church and state in this country only applies if its Christianity,” wrote Cindee Parker. “Any other religion is free to do whatever they wish.”

“It is a CHAPEL not a mosque,” wrote Merrie Spencer Rancourt. “Duke was founded as a Methodist university. If Muslims want to have a call to prayer, then they should purchase the land and build a tower, just like Methodists built the Chapel.”

As Rev. Graham stated so eloquently, Islam and Christianity present two very different Deities, who may share some similarities, but who have different identities and ultimately different standards. To pretend they are the same is not only to be clueless of the faith of 75% of the citizens of this nation, but, to be ignorant of an integral part of our American Heritage, the legacy of Christian Faith, which our Founding Fathers bequeathed us.

Liberalism, as a political ideology, is only embraced by 23% of Americans, per gallup.com.

Christianity, on the other hand, as I just stated, is the Faith of 75% of Americans, again, per gallup.com.

You Libs are betting on the wrong horse.

I’ve read The Book.

I know Who wins.

Glorifying the Darkness: Michael Brown, Phil Robertson, and Me (A KJ Op Ed)

November 30, 2014

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. – Ephesians 6:12 (ESV)

Back in May, the Patriarch of the Mega-hit Television Program, Duck Dynasty, Phil Robertson sat down with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, and, as usual, Brother Phil told it like it is…

I mean, it’s nuts.

What causes somebody to “wig out”, or to have what psychiatrists call “a break with reality”? Is it caused by some genetic abnormality? Is it caused by socialization? Or, it Brother Phil right? Does the Devil make them do it?

As I was fulfilling my “Honey Dos”, yesterday, in assisting my bride, the Queen of Christmas, in putting up the tree and all the accouterments which come all with it, I started thinking about the Ferguson Riots and all of the Savagery perpetrated by rioters, paid and unpaid, supposedly in the name of avenging a young thug, who bullied a shop ower and stolle cigarillos, in order to stuff his marijuana in them, before he attack a police officer, attempting to take away his gun, forcing the officer to put him down.

These people were actually defending EVIL in the name of “Civil Rights”!

…And, in a secret meeting on November 5th, they were encouraged by the President of the United States of America, Barack Hussein Obama, to “stay the course”!

Brother Phil is right about how widespread evil is in our society.

A short while back, while I was pursuing one of my favorite activities, perusing Facebook to see what was going on, I was on one of my favorite political pages, when I noticed that an anonymous poster had posted an anti- American Armed Forces message, just to get some attention. In fact, this guy was so far around the bend, that he posted that our military deserve to die because of the interventionism and nation-building foreign policy of the United States. By now. you’re probably asking, “So what do these two examples have to do with each other and with what Phil Robertson said to Sean Hannity?”

It is a comforting old saying which states

There, but for the grace of God, go I.

However, our parents, family, and friends can make a difference in our journey and I thank God that through His Grace I was given a Father who made sure that I received loving instruction in The Way in which I should go.

We still live in the greatest country on the face of the earth and we still have a responsibility to one another.

The Light or the Darkness. The choice is up to each and every one of us.

Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:14 (ESV)

Liberals Upset Over Something “Duck Dynasty’s” Phil Robertson Said…Again.

September 4, 2014

PhilRobertsonCartoonAmerican Liberals have, once again, taken a ride on Ozzy Osbourne’s “Crazy Train”.

…at least the ones whom I have engaged in “discussions” on Facebook Political Pages, within the last 24 hours, have.

The “smartest people in the room” are in the middle of a serious case of denial over the the objectives of the followers of Radical Islam.

In “talking” to them, I have found their sense of superiority frustrating and their naivete as to the barbaric nature of these Jihadists, breathtaking.

If I were to use the latest acronym SMH,”Twitter” for “Shaking My Head” to describe my incredulity toward this attitude of the self-proclaimed “Smartest People in the Room”, that would be a mammoth understatement.

American Liberals were positively apoplectic yesterday over “Duck Commander” and Christian Preacher, Phil Robertson’s recent interview with Fox New’s Sean Hannity, in which the “Duck Dynasty” Patriarch made his feelings about the Radical Muslims, who seek to destroy us, known in no uncertain terms.  Here is an excerpt, courtesy of nation.foxnews.com:

ROBERTSON: Worldwide, planet-wide, Biblically speaking, two groups of people, the children of God, and the whole world is under the control of the evil one. That’s First John 5:19. The evil one works in those who are disobedient. Galatians 3, they are prisoners of sin. Second Timothy 2, the Bible says they’ve been taken captive by Satan to do his will.

Listen, let me show you one. I’ve got the old — hey, America, Declaration of Independence, it’s my book marker. Don’t forget that. Listen to this, Sean. Solomon, one of the wisest men on earth if not the wisest, he’s speaking of wisdom, “Whoever finds me, wisdom finds light. Watch and receives favor from the lord. But whoever fails to find me,” this is the God of the Bible, “harms himself.” Now, listen to this on this ISIS thing, “All who hate me love death.”

So you scratch your head and you say, well, why is it that when we’re not even over there in the Middle East, why do they continue to slaughter each other when we’re not even on the premises? They can’t blame us. We left Iraq. You said what happened in Egypt and Syria, you say in Libya. They just slaughter each other. You say, what? “All who hate me love death,” Sean.

HANNITY: What is the answer? I think the only answer is, I think they are at war with us.

ROBERTSON: Yes.

HANNITY: Whether we like it or not, I think most people would rather live in peace. Most Americans, just leave us alone, we’ll leave you alone. They’re not going to leave us alone. They’re not going to leave Israel alone. So that leaves us with two options — do nothing and get ready for the next attack. And then we’ll have a report that says, they’re at war with us, we weren’t at war with them.

ROBERTSON: In this case you either have to convert them, which I think would be next to impossible. I’m not giving up on them, but I’m just saying, either convert them or kill them. One or the other.

HANNITY: That’s going —

ROBERTSON: Maybe that time has come and gone, so I think that with this ideology that we’re faced with, this is like street gangs, street thugs on steroids. You think about it, most of the wars we’ve fought, they were not asymmetrical like this one. This one, it’s not a country with a standing army, and we line up and do battle with a certain amount of rules that they violate. But you say this is more like worldwide gang warfare, but this gang is well-armed and well-organized. I think, my opinion, we’re going to have to deal with this group way more harshly than we have up to this point.

HANNITY: Because they’re so harsh. I know they’re going to be people that are always looking to jump on you and say, “Convert them or kill them.” And they’re going to say, “There goes Phil Robertson again.” I know the media. I know they how act.

ROBERTSON: I’d much rather have a Bible study with all of them and show them the error of their ways and point them to Jesus Christ, the author and perfector of having your sins removed and being raised from the dead. I would rather preach the gospel of Jesus to them. However, if it’s a gun fight and a gun fight alone, if that is what they’re looking for, me, personally I am prepared for either one.

As I wrote in my post, “Liberals Pushing “Moral Equivalency” Between American Christianity and Radical Islam”, American Liberals simply do not have a clue as to whom their real enemies are.

America’s chief ally during World War II, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, once said of Islam,

“How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries, improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement, the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.

Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyzes the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrogradeforce exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step, and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it (Islam) has vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.”

Some of this present “Me, First Generation” believe that there is not any difference between American Christianity and Radical Islam. Quite frankly, that’s like saying that there’s no difference between an in-ground swimming pool and a garden hose.

Islam and Christianity present two very different Deities, who may share some similarities, but who have different identities and ultimately different standards. To pretend they are the same is not only to be clueless of the faith of 76% of the citizens of this nation, but, to be ignorant of an integral part of our American Heritage, the legacy of Christian Faith, which our Founding Fathers bequeathed us.

Just like Prime Minister Churchill, I am not saying that every Muslim is on a jihad against “the Infidels”.

However…

When Christians become “radicalized”, we want to share the testimony of what God has done for us through His love, with everyone we meet. We get involved in our local church and we become better fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, and American citizens.

When Muslims become “radicalized”, they want to “kill the Infidels” in the name of “Allah the Merciful”.

In the case of the Chechen Muslim brothers who bombed the Boston Marathon, their immersion into Radical Islam led them to “kill the infidels” that horrendous day.

For Liberals to deny that, is disingenuous at best, and just plain out-and-out lying at worst.

Soon after Duck Dynasty became a hit, A&E found out that not only were the Robertsons’ steadfast and unyielding in the exercise of their Christian Faith, but they were also loved by Americans, who laughed with them, instead of at them. It was then that A&E realized that they had a problem…the joke was on them.

And, if these same Liberals, who always seem to argue with Conservatives from a position of “unsubstantiated superiority”, believe that Radical Muslims will somehow spare them from the brutality which they dole out to every Infidel they come across, then the joke is still on them…and the punchline will be so far over their head…that they will lose it.

Phil Robertson, America, and Me (A KJ Sunday Morning Message)

May 26, 2014

PhilRobertsonCartoon

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. – Ephesians 6:12 (ESV)

This past week, the Patriarch of the Mega-hit Television Program, Duck Dynasty, Phil Robertson sat down with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, and, as usual, Brother Phil told it like it is…

As I was resting at home last Monday, on a day we set aside to honor our selfless veterans who gave all to preserve our liberty, I started thinking about the young man who killed those people out in Santa Barbara, California I wonder what would cause somebody to brutally murder innocent human beings.

However, never in my wildest imaginations would I have ever thought of hurting others because I couldn’t get a date.  I mean, its stupid if you think about it and very sad at the same time. The horror of it all is that he ended innocent lives because he was jealous of the lives of others.

Brother Phil is right about how widespread evil is in our society.

This past week, while I was pursuing one of my favorite activities, perusing Facebook to see what was going on, I was on one of my favorite political pages, of which I happen to be an moderator, when I noticed that an anonymous poster had posted an anti- American Armed Forces message, just to get some attention. In fact, this guy was so far around the bend, that he posted that our military deserve to die because of the interventionism and nation-building foreign policy of the United States. When he became cornered and was asked to account factually for his comments on Facebook, this loon even suggested that the Japanese attacked the US Military at Pearl Harbor, because of things they had already done, and bore no ill will toward the American people.

By now. you’re probably asking, “So what do these two examples have to do with each other and with what Phil Robertson said to Sean Hannity?”

It Has Been Quite a Week for Christian American Conservatives

December 29, 2013

WashingtonPrayingIt has been quite a week for Christian Americans. We celebrated the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ, amid a national controversy, created by one humble, self-made millionaire from Louisiana, who dared to paraphrase 1 Corinthians 6: 9-11, in an attempt to explain his feelings regarding the sin known as homosexuality.

He wound up having to remind those who do not understand, that, as Christians, we love the sinner, but, hate the sin.

And, even though, Commander Phil Robertson was “un-suspended” and will be back with “Duck Dynasty” on A&E, when it resumes taping in Spring of 2014, an uneasiness about America’s Culture War remains.

Average Americans are asking themselves:

What in the name of all that’s holy, is going on in this country?

We’ve got babies having babies…when they don’t yank them from their wombs and kill them.

We’ve got Gays serving openly in our Armed Forces, and marching in uniform, in order to make a political point in a parade.

We’ve got black-on-black homocide climbing at an alarming rate in Detroit and Memphis, but no one seems to want to talk about it. That would be RAAACIIIST.

Just the other day, 600 “yutes” rioted, tearing up a mall in Brooklyn, because they heard a rapper would perform there.

We’ve got gangs recruiting in our schools…but, again,  no one seems to want to talk about it. It might upset little Jimmy.

We’ve got a president who says that we don’t have the intestinal fortitude or the intelligence to achieve success on our own, and whow embraces our enemies and alienates our allies.

We’ve got a First Lady who, while watching police and firefighters fold Old Glory at a ceremony honoring and remembering our fallen on the tenth anniversary of 9/11, said, “all this just for a flag”, while her husband nodded in agreement.

Now, more than ever, we need to return to the values that made this country the greatest on the face of the Earth.

During internet “discussions” this week over the Phil Robertson Controversy, Liberals have made attacked and made fun of my Faith and Values.

I’ve been asked what the phrase “Christian American Conservative” means.  Please allow me to explain.

First word:  Christian – A follower of Jesus Christ.

I was raised as a Christian by my parents and accepted Christ as my personal Savior many years ago.

Here are some interesting things about Christianity to consider, written by Dr. Ray Pritchard and posted on christianity.com:

1) The name “Christian” was not invented by early Christians. It was a name given to them by others.
2) Christians called themselves by different names—disciples, believers, brethren, saints, the elect, etc.
3) The term apparently had a negative meaning in the beginning: “those belonging to the Christ party.”
4) It was a term of contempt or derision.
5) We can get a flavor for it if we take the word “Christ” and keep that pronunciation. You “Christ-ians.”
6) It literally means “Christ-followers.”
7) Over time a derogatory term became a positive designation.
8) Occasionally you will hear someone spit the term out in the same way it was used in the beginning. “You Christians think you’re the only ones going to heaven.”
9) There was a sense of suffering and reproach attached to the word in the New Testament.

In working my way toward an answer to “What is a Christian?” I decided to check out the dictionary. I found these two definitions:

1. One who professes belief in Jesus as Christ or follows the religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus. 2. One who lives according to the teachings of Jesus.”

That’s actually quite helpful because it gives some content to the word. To be a Christian means that you . . .

Believe Something
Follow Something
Live Something
A Fully Devoted Follower To borrow a contemporary phrase, we could simply say that a Christian is a “fully devoted follower of Jesus.” As I think about that, two insights come to mind.

1) It doesn’t happen by accident. You are not “born” a Christian nor are you a Christian because of your family heritage. Being a Christian is not like being Irish. You aren’t a Christian simply because you were born into a Christian family.
2) It requires conversion of the heart. By using the term “conversion,” I simply mean what Jesus meant when he said that to be his disciple meant to deny yourself, take up your cross and follow him (Luke 9:23). The heart itself must be changed so that you become a follower of the Lord.

Second word: American – A citizen of the United States of America.

Stephen M. Warchawsky, wrote the following in an article foramericanthinker.org:

So what, then, does it mean to be an American? I suspect that most of us believe, like Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart in describing pornography, that we “know it when we see it.” For example, John Wayne, Amelia Earhart, and Bill Cosby definitely are Americans. The day laborers standing on the street corner probably are not. But how do we put this inner understanding into words? It’s not easy. Unlike most other nations on Earth, the American nation is not strictly defined in terms of race or ethnicity or ancestry or religion. George Washington may be the Father of Our Country (in my opinion, the greatest American who ever lived), but there have been in the past, and are today, many millions of patriotic, hardworking, upstanding Americans who are not Caucasian, or Christian, or of Western European ancestry. Yet they are undeniably as American as you or I (by the way, I am Jewish of predominantly Eastern European ancestry). Any definition of “American” that excludes such folks — let alone one that excludes me! — cannot be right.

Consequently, it is just not good enough to say, as some immigration restrictionists do, that this is a “white-majority, Western country.” Yes, it is. But so are, for example, Ireland and Sweden and Portugal. Clearly, this level of abstraction does not take us very far towards understanding what it means to be “an American.” Nor is it all that helpful to say that this is an English-speaking, predominately Christian country. While I think these features get us closer to the answer, there are millions of English-speaking (and non-English-speaking) Christians in the world who are not Americans, and millions of non-Christians who are. Certainly, these fundamental historical characteristics are important elements in determining who we are as a nation. Like other restrictionists, I am opposed to public policies that seek, by design or by default, to significantly alter the nation’s “demographic profile.” Still, it must be recognized that demography alone does not, and cannot, explain what it means to be an American.

So where does that leave us? I think the answer to our question, ultimately, must be found in the realms of ideology and culture. What distinguishes the United States from other nations, and what unites the disparate peoples who make up our country, are our unique political, economic, and social values, beliefs, and institutions. Not race, or religion, or ancestry.

Third word: Conservative -A person who holds to traditional values and attitudes.

J. Matt Barber wrote in the Washington Times that

Ronald Reagan often spoke of a “three-legged stool” that undergirds true conservatism. The legs are represented by a strong defense, strong free-market economic policies and strong social values. For the stool to remain upright, it must be supported by all three legs. If you snap off even one leg, the stool collapses under its own weight.

A Republican, for instance, who is conservative on social and national defense issues but liberal on fiscal issues is not a Reagan conservative. He is a quasi-conservative socialist.

A Republican who is conservative on fiscal and social issues but liberal on national defense issues is not a Reagan conservative. He is a quasi-conservative dove.

By the same token, a Republican who is conservative on fiscal and national defense issues but liberal on social issues – such as abortion, so-called gay rights or the Second Amendment – is not a Reagan conservative. He is a socio-liberal libertarian.

Put another way: A Republican who is one part William F. Buckley Jr., one part Oliver North and one part Rachel Maddow is no true conservative. He is – well, I’m not exactly sure what he is, but it ain’t pretty.

Even the Brits understand what American Conservatism is.

Per blogs.telegraph.co.uk:

Conservatism is thriving in America today because liberty, freedom and individual responsibility are at the heart of its ideology, one that rejects the foolish notion that government knows best. And its strength owes a great debt to the conviction and ideals of Ronald Reagan, who always believed that America’s best days are ahead of her, and for whom the notion of decline was unacceptable. As the Gipper famously put it, in a speech to the Conservative Political Action Conference in 1988:

Those who underestimate the conservative movement are the same people who always underestimate the American people.

In conclusion, I, a Christian American Conservative, am a follower of Jesus Christ and a citizen of the United States of America (by the Grace of God), who holds to traditional values and attitudes.

I pray that you, the reader, are able to glean that from my blogs.  Because, as Matthew 6:21 tells us:

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

My hope is that, during these troubled times, your heart is held by Him.

May God bless you and yours,

KJ

The A&E “Un-Suspension” of Phil Robertson Announcement…With a Translation for Average Americans

December 28, 2013

PhilRobertsonCartoonPROLOGUE: As you have no doubt heard by now, late yesterday afternoon, the Arts and Entertainment Channel “un-suspended” the Patriarch of its hit show, “Duck Dynasty”,  “Duck Commander” Phil Robertson.

For those average Americans, like myself, who do not live in the land of Libs and Vichy Republicans (but, I repeat myself), known as the Northeast Corridor, or the East Coast, I, a lowly Christian American Conservative, located in Dixie, like the Robertsons, offer the following translation of A&E’s Press Release, announcing Commander Phil’s “return”.

As a global media content company, A+E Networks’ core values are centered around creativity, inclusion and mutual respect. We believe it is a privilege for our brands to be invited into people’s homes, and we operate with a strong sense of integrity and deep commitment to these principles.

TRANSLATION: We had no freakin’ clue that all of you ignorant rednecks in Flyover Country knew how to write or send E-mails. Color us surprised. We thought that we were going to get away with suspending this “Christianist” Hick, who dared to stand up to us about that whole Praying thing that we told him to leave off the show. When we found this interview, which was actually done in 2010, we thought we had our opportunity to be rid of him.

That is why we reacted so quickly and strongly to a recent interview with Phil Robertson. While Phil’s comments made in the interview reflect his personal views based on his own beliefs and his own personal journey, he and his family have publicly stated they regret the “coarse language” he used and the misinterpretation of his core beliefs based only on the article. He also made it clear he would “never incite or encourage hate.” We at A+E Networks expressed our disappointment with his statements in the article and reiterate that they are not views we hold.

TRANSLATION: We realize that he was paraphrasing the Bible, citing 1 Corinthians 6: 9-11, but being the sheltered, snotty Liberals that we are, we had no idea that Christians would actually stand up for one of their own. We thought that all of you guys would simply turn the other cheek and let us do what we want. Of course, we fully intend to camouflage our own stupidity and intolerance of Christian American Conservatives, by continuing to refer to the Robertsons as “coarse”, while we curse at the top of our lungs in our everyday conversations in our corporate offices.

Of course, they are not the views we hold. Phil Robertson is a Christian Southern American self-made millionaire, who holds a Masters Degree from Louisiana Tech, who still says “Yes, Ma’am” and “No, Sir” and believes that a marriage is comprised of one man and one woman.

But Duck Dynasty is not a show about one man’s views. It resonates with a large audience because it is a show about family … a family that America has come to love. As you might have seen in many episodes, they come together to reflect and pray for unity, tolerance and forgiveness. These are three values that we at A+E Networks also feel strongly about.

TRANSLATION: We recruited these yokels for this show, because we thought it was going to be the Reality Show-Version of “The Beverly Hillbillies”. Imagine our shock and disbelief when we figured out that America was laughing with the Robertsons and not at them. Then, imagine our incredulity when, after we suspended Commander Phil, the family told us that they would not do the show without him.

So, now we’re scrambling to save face, as you can see, by the fact that we are now claiming to approve of their praying, which we tried to take off the show. Hypocritical? You betcha.

So after discussions with the Robertson family, as well as consulting with numerous advocacy groups, A&E has decided to resume filming Duck Dynasty later this spring with the entire Robertson family.

TRANSLATION: After the ratings for our Christmas “Duck Dynasty” Marathon went into the porcelain receptacle, we had to do something. We had no choice. “Duck Dynasty” brings in millions of dollars to us.

After all, like every other Liberal in a position of power, our public self-righteousness always loses to our private unabashed avarice.

We will also use this moment to launch a national public service campaign (PSA) promoting unity, tolerance and acceptance among all people, a message that supports our core values as a company and the values found in Duck Dynasty. These PSAs will air across our entire portfolio.

TRANSLATION: “Unity, tolerance and acceptance”, except for you meddling “Christianists”. Your standing strong for your Faith is the reason we couldn’t get rid of these “Backwoods Baptisers” and now, we’ve been exposed for the intolerant Liberals that we are. So, we are forced to hide that intolerance , by producing Liberal PSA’s.

EPILOGUE: I remember my Daddy (Southern colloquialism for the male parental unit) telling me that character is how you act when no one is watching.

A&E revealed their character, when they thought that no one was watching them.

Unfortunately for them, America was watching them…and we did not like what we saw.

And now, this convoluted “apology” will not do a doggone thing to “polish up” their now-tarnished image in the minds of average Americans.

So, they had better treat the Robertsons right. They are all that is keeping A&E from becoming just another Notheast Regional Cable Network…like MSNBC.

Until He Comes,

Rev. Jesse Jackson, Sr. Sees Cameras…Smells Money….and Gets Involved in the Duck Dynasty Dust-Up

December 27, 2013

jessejacksonphilrobertsonThe Reverend Jesse Jackson, Sr. has decided to once again insert himself into a national headline-making story.

I know…you’re shocked.

FoxNews.com summarizes the situation…

Reverend Jesse Jackson has weighed in on the controversy surrounding Duck Dynasty, comparing Phil Robertson to the driver who had ordered Rosa Parks to sit in the back of the bus.

The 67-year-old Robertson family patriarch and star of the mega-hit A&E reality show has unleashed a firestorm earlier this month after making anti-gay remarks in a interview with GQ.

In the wake of the scandal, A&E had suspended Robertson from the show and Cracker Barrel restaurants briefly pulled some of his merchandise from their country stores.

But less than 48 hours after that decision was made, the chain of restaurants was met with flurry of negative comments from customers and has since decided to restock Robertson’s products.

For Reverend Jackson and his Rainbow PUSH Coalition, as well as for the LGBT organization GLAAD, these attempts at damage control have been insufficient.

‘These statements uttered by Robertson are more offensive than the bus driver in Montgomery, Alabama, more than 59 years ago,’ Jackson said in a statement obtained by ABC News.

‘At least the bus driver, who ordered Rosa Parks to surrender her seat to a white person, was following state law.

‘Robertson’s statements were uttered freely and openly without cover of the law, within a context of what he seemed to believe was “white privilege.”’

In his statement, the 72-year-old civil rights leader demanded to meet within 72 hours with A&E executives and Cracker Barrel’s CEO to discuss the future of Duck Dynasty memorabilia.

Jackson also urged the network to uphold Robertson’s indefinite suspension from the popular program.

Rev’ruuund Jacksuuun (as Rush refers to him) made his name in the 1960’s as a “Civil Rights Advocate” who was often seen in the company of  Drs. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Ralph Abernathy. However, as is always the case with ol’ Jesse, things weren’t quite what he made them out to be, as discoverthenetworks.org reports…

…Jesse Jackson Sr. clashed with Martin Luther King Jr. on a number of occasions during the Sixties, and he has often overstated the closeness of his relationship to King—even claiming to have been the last person King spoke to after he had been mortally wounded by an assassin’s bullet on April 4, 1968. Specifically, Jackson claimed that he was on the balcony with King immediately after the latter had been shot, and that he had cradled the dying civil-rights leader in his arms as he took his final breaths. But in fact, at the moment King was shot, Jackson was actually in a nearby parking lot talking to a group of musicians. [A fact also testified to by Dr. Abernathy on the Phil Donahue Show.] Kenneth Timmerman describes what happened next:

“When the shots rang out, he [Jackson] fled and hid behind the swimming pool area and reappeared 20-30 minutes later when the television cameras arrived on the scene. That’s when Jesse Jackson told other Southern Christian Leadership Conference staffers, ‘Don’t you talk to the press, whatever you do.’ … Nobody had given him that job. He took that job. Call it ‘entrepreneurial instinct’ if you wish, but on the spot he realized that he had an opportunity to spin the events to create his own persona and create a possibility for him to become a leader in the black movement. He had no prospects at that point.”

The next morning, Jackson flew to Chicago to make a guest appearance on the NBC Today Show. In the few hours that had passed between the King assassination and Jackson’s flight to the Windy City, Jackson had already hired a public-relations agent to accompany him as he was transported from interview to interview in a chauffeur-driven car. Before a national television audience on the Today Show, Jackson donned a shirt that he claimed was smeared with the dying Dr. King’s blood. “He died in my arms,” Jackson lied.

…SCLC [The Southern Christian Leadership Conference] appointed King’s close associate, Dr. Ralph Abernathy, to succeed the slain leader as head of the organization. This move angered Jackson, who had hoped to be the heir to King’s civil-rights mantle. Soon thereafter, a black Chicago Tribune reporter named Angela Parker discovered that, Jackson, in the aftermath of King’s assassination, had embezzled money from Operation Breadbasket. Parker went to Atlanta and presented the evidence to Abernathy, who publicly confronted Jackson with the charges. Abernathy suspended Jackson for sixty days beginning on December 6, 1971, and SCLC board chairman Joseph Lowery charged Jackson with “administrative improprieties and repeated acts of violation of organizational policies.”

As one half of the “Justice Brothers” [with Rev. Al Sharpton], Jackson has become a legend for being able to weasel his way in front of a camera, even if there is just a hint of some perceived racial intolerance…and, even if there is not any racial element to the newsworthy situation, Jackson will make one up.

In the case of the A&E Vs. Duck Dynasty Saga, Jackson’s cries will, hopefully, fall on deaf ears. As Cracker Barrel found out, to their chagrin, the overwhelming majority of average Americans support Phil Robertson, and stand by his right to speak his mind. Heck, even Joe Perry of the Legendary Rock Band, Aerosmith, came out yesterday in support of Commander Phil.

Jackson’s unwelcome intrusion, if it is entertained by the Liberal idiots at A&E, will only succeed in further alienating the cable channel from the American viewing audience, which has sent Duck Dynasty’s ratings through the roof, making A&E tons of money in the process.

I don’t believe that A&E will play the Rev’ruund’s well-practiced game of extortion.

Because, if there is one thing that always trumps Liberals’ hypocritical public self-righteousness, it’s their unabashed private avarice.

Sunday in America: Cracker Barrel Apologizes, Puts Duck Dynasty Merchandise Back. Commander Phil Leads Bible Class.

December 23, 2013

duck dynasty 2Yesterday, as American Christians attended the church of their choice, the power of faith was in full display.

ChristianPost.com has the story…

After removing select ‘Duck Dynasty’ products from their stores out of concern the products might offend some customers Friday, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store backtracked and returned the products to their stores Sunday after Christians peppered them with protest and threats of a boycott.

“When we made the decision to remove and evaluate certain Duck Dynasty items, we offended many of our loyal customers. Our intent was to avoid offending, but that’s just what we’ve done,” noted the company in a post on its Facebook page Sunday.

“You told us we made a mistake. And, you weren’t shy about it. You wrote, you called and you took to social media to express your thoughts and feelings. You flat out told us we were wrong. We listened,” the company continued then announced that Duck Dynasty products will be returned to its stores while apologizing for offending the shows conservative fans.

“Today, we are putting all our Duck Dynasty products back in our stores. And, we apologize for offending you. We respect all individuals right to express their beliefs. We certainly did not mean to have anyone think different. We sincerely hope you will continue to be part of our Cracker Barrel family,” ended the post.

Some Christians reacted by applauding the company for admitting the error in their judgement.

“I don’t give a rip about Duck Dynasty, but I am definitely impressed by a corporation that can simply admit a mistake. Very refreshing. If only our president could follow your example,” wrote Dean Dyer.

“Thank You Cracker Barrel Glad to see ya listen to your customers & care about their feelings. It’s a shame more business don’t do this,” wrote Delores Storms.

Others like Patti Linker, however, said the company opened up a can of worms that makes it difficult to see the company in the same light.

“Cracker Barrel. Was it the almighty dollar that changed your mind? Because now that you opened this can of worms, most Christians want to know exactly where you stand on the issue of homosexuality,” wrote Linker.

“You really should not have done anything to begin with and you wouldn’t be in this mess. I truly enjoy shopping and eating in your store, but will probably not be back. I don’t really respect corporate fence riders. You either believe something or you don’t, and we didn’t really feel it was our personal business to know those beliefs until you brought it [to] the forefront. I think you have just made your business a wee bit smaller,” she ended.

The man who caused Christians to stand up on their hind legs and show their support for him was busy, yesterday. He was leading a small Bible study group in his home town church in West Monroe, Louisiana.

According to the London Daily Mail, Commander Phil said…

…I love all men and women. I am a lover of humanity, not a hater

…I didn’t think much of it at all, but it seems a lot of other people did.

At the end of the less, Commander Phil prayed…

…‘I will not give or back off from my path because you conquered death, Father, so we are not worried about all the repercussions.’

Earlier he stood in front of the small class, at White’s Ferry Road Church wearing his full camouflage suit and addressed the group for around 45 minutes.

He said: ‘I have been immoral, drunk, high. I ran with the wicked people for 28 years and I have run with the Jesus people since and the contrast is astounding.

‘I tell people, “You are a sinner, we all are. Do you want to hear my story before I give you the bottom line on your story?”

‘We murder each other and we steal from one another, sex and immorality goes ballistic. All the diseases that just so happen to follow sexual mischief… boy there are some microbes running around now.

‘Sexual sins are numerous and many, I have a few myself. So what is your safest course of action? If you’re a man, find yourself a woman, marry them and keep your sex right there.

‘You can have fun, but one thing is for sure, as long as you are both healthy in the first place, you are not going to catch some debilitating illness, there is safety there.

‘Commonsense says we are not going to procreate the human race unless we have a man and a woman. From the beginning Jesus said, “It is a man and a woman.” Adam was made and Eve was made for this reason. They left their fathers and mothers and be united to become one flesh, that’s what marriage is all about.

‘But we looked at it and said it was an outdated stereotype. When you look back at the human race, the sins have always been the same: We get high, we get drunk, we get laid, we steal and kill.

‘Has this changed at all from the time God burnt up whole cities because their every thought was evil?’

Then reading from the Bible he said, ‘The acts of the sinful nature are obvious. Sexual immorality, is number one on the list. How many ways can we sin sexually? My goodness. You open up that can of worms and people will be mad at you over it.

‘I am just reading what was written over 2000 years ago. Those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom. All I did was quote from the scriptures, but they just didn’t know it. Whether I said it, or they read it, what’s the difference? The sins are the same, humans haven’t changed.

‘If you give them the bad news, they’ll start kicking and screaming. But you love them more than you fear them, so you tell them.

‘A lot of times they don’t even wait for you to finish and say, ‘But there’s a way out, do you want to hear the rest of the story or what?

‘Jesus will take sins away, if you’re a homosexual he’ll take it away, if you’re an adulterer, if you’re a liar, what’s the difference? If you break one sin you may as well break them all.

‘If we lose our morality, we will lose our country. It will happen. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could all walk around without stealing from each other and killing each other?

‘Why don’t we just love each other enough that we wouldn’t want to do these things to each other?’

“Duck Commander” Phil Robertson  awakened a sleeping giant. Just when Christian Americans were beginning to believe that the Liberal Pundits and the Liberal Beltway Power Brokers represented theMajority Moral/Political Viewpoint in this country, we found out that we were mistaken. Conservative American Christians are still living and thriving in America’s Heartland, regardless of what those who control the Main Street Media…and the White House…will tell you.

If you don’t believe me, ask Cracker Barrel. They found out the hard way.

On a more serious note, we have all heard the old maxim, “Faith can move mountains”.

Well, in the case of Commander Phil Robertson, one man’s faith has moved a nation.

Until He Comes,
