“Mommy, There’s a Man in the Bathroom!”: The Progressive War Against American Freedom of Thought

April 14, 2016

transgender-750Americans, are once again, witnessing the “Tyranny of the Minority”.

Jillian T. Weiss, a professor of law and society at Ramapo College of New Jersey and founder of a firm that represents transgender people who have experienced discrimination, is executive director of the National Transgender Bar Association now in formation. The following is an excerpt of a colum tittled “Federal law dooms transgender bathroom bans’, which was published yesterday in USA Today.

North Carolina recently became the first U.S. state to mandate discrimination against transgender people by statute, banning them from using bathrooms and locker rooms that align with their gender identity in government buildings and schools. The new law also guts protections for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in Charlotte and nine other municipalities.

This move and similar ones in other states are terrible signals of intolerance, but beyond that they make absolutely no sense. North Carolina started feeling an economic backlash so quickly that Gov. Pat McCrory signed an executive order Tuesday in an attempt to soften the message sent by the law, though the order has little impact on the law itself.

Then there’s McCrory’s reason for overriding the municipal ordinances — that the city of Charlotte committed “government overreach and intrusion” by saying transgender customers of private businesses had the right to use whatever restroom seemed appropriate. That is in one sense a demand on those businesses. But looked at another way, McCrory was suggesting that Charlotte had overstepped its governmental role by reducing restrictions on restroom use. If this seems illogical to you, join the club.

What makes state laws like these even more irrational is that transgender people are currently protected by federal law. They are protected in their use of gender-conforming bathrooms in schools by Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. The Occupational Safety and Health Act and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 have been interpreted to cover gender-appropriate restrooms in the workplace. There are constitutional provisions requiring equal protection of the law and a due process right to privacy that apply to state laws restricting access to public accommodations. And the Affordable Care Act protects people in medical facilities.

Even so, 44 bills targeting the LGBT community were introduced in state legislatures in the first three months of 2016. The Republican National Committee has called for these actions. These statewide attempts to make an end run around federal law, using irrational fear-mongering to vilify an already vulnerable population, have already resulted in a federal lawsuit in North Carolina.

Ever since the states of North Carolina and Mississippi passed laws effectively barring “transgendered” people from using public restrooms of the opposite “biological sex”, in support of traditional American Morals and Vales, there has been an epic attempt by “The Smartest and Most Tolerant People in the Room” to blackmail corporations into protesting the states’ efforts, through public proclamation of their displeasure with Americans in the Heartland standing up for themselves.

Exactly, how large is the “Transgendered Population” in the United States of America?

If you listen to those, including President Barack Hussein Obama and his Administration, who are fighting so fervently for “Transgendered Rights”, you would think that the percentage of our overall population MUST be somewhere in the double digits.

You would be wrong.

Transgendered Americans actually only number somewhere around 700,000, about 0.3 percent of U.S. adults.

I suppose that the “coming out” of Former Olympic Decathalon and Reality TV Star Bruce Jenner as her new Transgendered Persona, “Caitlyn”, started the snowball down the hill.

However, as I wrote in the time, I think that it could possibly be nothing but a publicity stunt, for two reasons.

  1. Nothing that he/she/it has done to him/her/itself is irreversible. He still has his male sexual organ.
  2. He/she/it has publicly stated that he/she/it still prefers women.

I wonder if the sales of Wheaties suffered after his/her/its big announcement?

But, I digress…

In researching today’s post, I found several articles in the Main Stream Media and Liberal websites, such as mediamatters.org, lauding how peaceful, wonderful, and harmless Transgendered People are, and how we “Right-wing Hatemongers” and our stated concern about the safety of our wives, girlfriends, and daughters is overblown.

Then, I found articles detailing the problems that American Prisons have been facing, for over 10 years, in dealing with the Transgendered Criminals, who are incarcerated in their facilities.

And, of course, the reports about perverts exposing themselves in public bathrooms, are common on every city’s Police Blotter.

Why the push to accommodate the “gender Identity” of .03 % of our population, while simultaneously disrespecting the privacy and advocating a threat to the safety of American women and children?

I propose to you, gentle reader, that this is a part of the continued effort to sublimate Traditional American Values, and even, American Exceptionalism, for the “Good of the State”, in Liberals/Progressives’ ongoing quest to bring America down to the same level as the Socialist Democrat Failures of Europe.

The other day, I had a fellow write attempt to justify these multiple-stall “Unisex” Public Restrooms as being “normal”, because “Europe has had them for years”.

I, attempting to control my incredulity, answered him, by explaining that America is not Europe. 75% of Americans still proclaim themselves to be Christians, while Europe has abandoned both their Faith and their backbones, and are being invaded by Muslims, who are bringing their Sharia Law, with them.

You often hear of the activists, who are a part of the 24% of Americans, who identify themselves as “Liberals”, referred to as the “Hive-mind”, because most of the time, they present themselves in public and on the internet, including Facebook Political Pages, as being in lockstep with one another, regurgitating “the Party Line”, about each and every Hot Button Political Issue, resembling the brainwashed Proletariat of the old Soviet Union.

The actions of North Carolina and Mississippi, goes against the unified thought process of Liberals. American Individual Freedom of Thought and Traditional Morality and Value System of America, instilled in the majority of Americans, by American Christianity.

Traditional American Morality and Values are a roadblock to Progressives’ Plans, as regards to the “Good of the State”.

So, when you see Liberals Musicians like Bruce Stringsteen and Bryan Adams cancel concerts in North Carolina and Mississippi, and Corporations expressing their “concerns” of the passage of these laws, it is all a part of a concerted effort to get us “all in line”.

Unfortunately for those who expouse the “singularity of thought” of the Hive-mind, they will never win.

We are Americans. We cherish our Faith, our Families, and our Freedom of Thought.

We will not be assimilated.

More Than Half of Female Marine Recruits Can’t Pass Their Annual Physical Fitness Test

January 3, 2014

bettyboopfatiguesThe subject of placing American Women in the military into combat roles has been a contentious issue, to say the least.

Beginning last year, the Administration decided that it would begin to place American Women into combat roles within our Armed Forces.

However, as with everything else that has been done to our American Culture, during the Obama Administration, is does not matter if the Administration’s Plan actually works. It only matters that they feel better about themselves for having implemented it.

On February 3rd, 2013, the President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama, gave a live interview before the Super Bowl, during which he discussed the subject of Women in Combat.

Thehill.com reported that

President Obama defended the Pentagon’s decision to lift the ban on women in combat roles, saying that he had no hesitation sending female troops into harm’s way.

“Women as a practical matter are now in combat,” Obama said during a live interview Sunday on CBS before the Super Bowl. “They may not get treated as if they are in combat, but when they are in theater, in Iraq or Afghanistan, they are vulnerable, they are wounded and they’ve been killed.

“They have carried out their jobs with extraordinary patriotism and distinction,” he added.

Outgoing Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Martin Dempsey last month lifted the ban on female servicemembers being in ground combat units, a move which could open up as many as 237,000 new positions to female troops.

The military services, though, have until 2016 to make the case for leaving some positions or occupations closed to women.

Obama said that female troops had shown that they could handle the rigors of military life. The president said there were already “extraordinary women in uniform who can do everything a man can.”

“One of my military aides is about 5-feet tall, probably weighs 100 pounds. You put a 50-pound pack on her and she can do things that you or me would keel over doing,” he added.

“The truth is that women are serving, they are taking great risks. What we should not do is somehow prevent them from advancing in an institution that we all revere,” said Obama.

Yes, Mr. President. Women are serving…and taking great risks. However, what happens if a woman is not physically able to lift the weaponry that she will be called upon to use in combat?

The Washington, DC Fox Affiliate reports that…

More than half of female Marines in boot camp can’t do three pullups, the minimum standard that was supposed to take effect with the new year, prompting the Marine Corps to delay the requirement, part of the process of equalizing physical standards to integrate women into combat jobs.

The delay rekindled sharp debate in the military on the question of whether women have the physical strength for some military jobs, as service branches move toward opening thousands of combat roles to them in 2016.

Although no new timetable has been set on the delayed physical requirement, Marine Corps Commandant Gen. James Amos wants training officials to “continue to gather data and ensure that female Marines are provided with the best opportunity to succeed,” Capt. Maureen Krebs, a Marine spokeswoman, said Thursday.

Starting with the new year, all female Marines were supposed to be able to do at least three pullups on their annual physical fitness test and eight for a perfect score. The requirement was tested in 2013 on female recruits at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C., but only 45 percent of women met the minimum, Krebs said.

The Marines had hoped to institute the pullups on the belief that pullups require the muscular strength necessary to perform common military tasks such as scaling a wall, climbing up a rope or lifting and carrying heavy munitions.

Officials felt there wasn’t a medical risk to putting the new standard into effect as planned across the service, but that the risk of losing recruits and hurting retention of women already in the service was unacceptably high, she said.

Because the change is being put off, women will be able to choose which test of upper-body strength they will be graded on in their annual physical fitness test. Their choices:

-Pullups, with three the minimum. Three is also the minimum for male Marines, but they need 20 for a perfect rating.

-A flexed-arm hang. The minimum is for 15 seconds; women get a perfect score if they last for 70 seconds. Men don’t do the hang in their test.

Officials said training for pullups can change a person’s strength, while training for the flex-arm hang does little to adapt muscular strength needed for military tasks.

The delay on the standard could be another wrinkle in the plan to begin allowing women to serve in jobs previously closed to them such as infantry, armor and artillery units.

The decision to suspend the scheduled pull-up requirement “is a clear indication” that plans to move women into direct ground combat fighting teams will not work, said Elaine Donnelly, president of the conservative Center for Military Readiness and a critic of allowing women into infantry jobs.

“When officials claim that men and women are being trained the same, they are referring to bare minimums, not maximum qualifications that most men can meet but women cannot,” Donnelly wrote in an email to The Associated Press. “Awarding gender-normed scores so that women can succeed lowers standards for all. Women will suffer more injuries and resentment they do not deserve, and men will be less prepared for the demands of direct ground combat.”

While, as human beings, men and women share biological similarities, the two sexes are most decidedly different…especially in the bodily strength department. That’s not just this Southern Gentleman’s opinion, it is a scientific fact.

From science.howstuffworks.com:

Women’s lower body strength tends to be more closely matched to men’s, while their upper body strength is often just half that of men’s upper body strength. In a 1993 study exploring gender differences in muscle makeup, female participants exhibited 52 percent of men’s upper body strength, which the researchers partially attributed to their smaller muscles and a higher concentration of fatty tissues in the top half of the female body. Another study published in 1999 similarly found women had 40 percent less upper body skeletal muscle. Even controlling for athletic aptitude doesn’t tip the upper body strength scales in favor of the female; an experiment comparing the hand grip strength of non-athletic male participants versus elite women athletes still revealed a muscle power disparity in favor of the menfolk.

Liberals, in their zeal to turn America’s Armed Forces into a Social Engineering Laboratory, have done both our nation and the American Women, who wish to serve in our military, a grave disservice.

While American Women are most certainly bright, intelligent, and capable, they clearly do not possess the upper body strength to pass the same physical standards required for combat duty, that their male counterparts must pass.

And, in a combat situation, the difference in upper body strength between the sexes, could also mean the difference between life and death, not just for the female combatant, but for her fellow Americans in that combat situation, as well.

To lower the Physical Standards for the Marines,or any other branch of our Armed Forces, will cost lives.

No political point is worth that.

Gun Control: Dems in Colorado State Legislature “Rocky Mountain High”

February 19, 2013

gun rightsJust when we all thought that Colorado was becoming a Red State, the Democrats in the State Legislature lose their collective minds.

Fox News reports that

Limits on the size of ammunition magazines and universal background checks passed the Colorado House on Monday, during a second day of emotional debates that has drawn attention from the White House as lawmakers try to address recent mass shootings.

The bills were among four that the Democratic-controlled House passed amid strong resistance from Republicans, who were joined by a few Democrats to make some of the votes close.

The proposed ammunition restrictions limit magazines to 15 rounds for firearms, and eight for shotguns. Three Democrats joined all Republicans voting no on the bill, but the proposal passed 34-31.

“Enough is enough. I’m sick and tired of bloodshed,” said Democratic Rep. Rhonda Fields, a sponsor of the bill and representative of the district where the shootings at an Aurora theater happened last summer. Fields’ son was also fatally shot in 2005.

Republicans argued that the proposals restrict Second Amendment rights and won’t prevent mass shootings like the ones in Aurora and a Connecticut elementary school.

“This bill will never keep evil people from doing evil things,” said Republican Rep. Jerry Sonnenberg.

The House also approved a bill requiring background checks on all gun purchases, including those between private sellers and firearms bought online.

Other proposals would ban concealed firearms at colleges and stadiums, and another requires that gun purchasers pay for their own background checks. Democrats eked out the closest vote on the background check measure, which passed on a 33-32 vote.

Democratic Rep. Ed Vigil, who represents rural southern Colorado, voted against the four bills, saying his decision was rooted in the state’s rugged history.

“This is part of our heritage. This is part of what it took to settle this land. I cannot turn my back on that,” he said.

But even though a few Democrats joined Republicans in voting no for the bills, the Democrats’ 37-28 advantage in the House gave them enough leeway.

The Senate still needs to consider the proposals. Democrats will need to be more unified in their support there because their advantage is only 20-15. That means Republicans need only three Democrats to join them to defeat the bills.

House lawmakers began debating the bills Friday.

This took place one day after  a Democratic State Representative put his foot in it…Big Time:

TheBlaze.com tells us that

While trying to explain why women in college don’t need firearms for self-defense on campus, Colorado state Rep. Joe Salazar said even if women feel like they might be raped, their suspected attacker might not actually have intent to rape. So please, put the guns away ladies.

“It’s why we have call boxes, it’s why we have safe zones, it’s why we have the whistles. Because you just don’t know who you’re gonna be shooting at,” he said during a legislative hearing. “And you don’t know if you feel like you’re gonna be raped, or if you feel like someone’s been following you around or if you feel like you’re in trouble and when you may actually not be, that you pop out that gun and you pop — pop a round at somebody.”

Yesterday, after a blowback that made Hurricane Katrina seem like a battery-operated personal fan, the idiot apologized.

However, on the subject of Rep. Salazar’s ignorant comment, yesterday, on Twitter, I had a fascinating conversation with a quite Liberal young lady.

I had posted the following Tweet under the hashtag: #LiberalTips2AvoidRape

Move on down to Dixie, where everyone, Southern Belles or Southern Gentlemen, open or concealed carries.

The young lady replied to my Tweet:

therefore, according to your “logic”, there are no rapes down in ‘ole Dixie?

I, then replied:

I did not say that. However, statistics do prove that a well-placed bullet does prevent an attempted rape 10 out of 10 times.

Here is the rest of the discussion:

Her: If you want to use a statistic then give me a site to back it up.

Me: Ummm…how would a perpetrator rape someone if he was incompacitated?  Duuuh. Courtesy of the Kingsjester Institute of the Obvious.

Her: Suppose the rapist doesn’t want to wait ’til you draw your gun, aim and shoot?Or he comes from behind w/a knife to your neck?

Me: Shoot him in the foot.

Her: ok, but I think you’d have to walk around with your hand on your gun for that to work. Rapists are the worst kind of predators.

Me: You can shoot through a purse or a holster. So, are you saying that you want to comply with what the Dem in CO wants you to do?

Her: I was trying to point out that a gun won’t stop a rapist unless you walk around w/your hand on the trigger at all times.

Me: You have no reflexes? Are you unaware of your surroundings? Are you a victim? Are you a fatalist? Would you not fight back?
It was then that she left the conversation. Perhaps, she was one of those State Legislators in Colorado, I don’t know.
A couple of things in closing:
Where you have the most armed citizens in America, you have the lowest violent crime rate. Where you have the worst gun control, you have the highest crime rate. – Ted Nugent
And, why are they trying to take away the guns from law-abiding citizens, when it is the criminals who use their guns to kill, rape, and rob?
You know, it is almost as if those in power want the American Citizenry to be defenseless.
